The CNPS is a public institution with legal personality and financial autonomy. It is under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. It is managed by a Board of Directors composed of tripartite representatives of employers, workers, the State, and a General Management.
TITLE I: GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1: The National Social Security Fund (CNPS) is placed under the authority of a Director General, possibly assisted by a Deputy Director General.
Article 2: To carry out its missions, the General Management has at its headquarters:
- The Office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors;
- The Attached Services;
- The Central Services.
Article 3: The Services attached to the General Directorate include:
- The Private Secretary of the Director General (SPDG);
- The Private Secretary of the Deputy Director General (SPDGA);
- The Technical Advisors (CT);
- The Project Manager (CM);
- The Department of Studies, Communication and Translation (DECT);
- The Cooperation Service (SC);
- The General Security Service (SSG);
- The Mail Service (SC);
- The Permanent Secretariat to the Appeals Committee (SPCRG).
TITLE II: EXTERNAL SERVICES
They are grouped into 4 Regional Directorates:
- DRCSE (Central South and East Regional Directorate): 14 Social Welfare Centers
- DRLSO (Littoral and Southwest Regional Directorate): 12 Social Welfare Centers
- DRONO (West and Northwest Regional Directorate): 6 Social Welfare Centers
- DRANEN (Adamaoua, North and Far North Regional Directorate): 5 Welfare Centers Social.
The CNPS also has:
- One (01) hospital center;
- Two (02) medical-social centers;
- One (01) public school.
