Review of the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan
The National Social Insurance Fund of Cameroon is hosting a meeting to review the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.
The working session, which began on Monday the 15th of January 2024 at the NSIF building at Avenue des Banques in Yaounde, brought together high-level experts from the Inter-African Conference on Social Security (CIPRES) and Social Security Institutions from Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Gabon, Senegal, Togo, and Côte d'Ivoire. The meeting is being chaired by Cheikh Tidiane Tounkara, President of the CIPRES Supervisory Commission.
The purpose of this meeting is to review the 2024-2028 strategic plan by the committee of experts set up for this purpose. A logical framework and a monitoring and evaluation system based on relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability criteria will also be included. Another topic for discussion will be the re-examination of the draft action plan and budget for the 2024 financial year.
These resolutions were adopted at the end of the 35th ordinary session of the Council of Ministers for Social Security of CIPRES member countries, held in Ouagadougou on the 15th of December 2023.
Four days of in-depth work will enable the committee of experts to re-examine and propose these documents to the CIPRES Chief Executive.
We will come back to this in subsequent publications.
