Preventive Medical check-up : AI Doctor at the service of the NSIF

In order to improve the health condition of its staff and facilitates medical diagnosis, The social security institution (NSIF) rolls out a new equipped device  with artificial intelligence.

The preventive medical campaign, which was launched in May at the human resources department's medical service, located in the building adjacent to the NSIF Head Office building, ended on the 27th of June 2025. This unique cutting-edge tool, allows the NSIF to be up to date in medical diagnosis, with a percularity to foresee the internal structures of the body (bones, blood vessels, organs, tissues, etc.) ; detect any potential anomaly, thereby facilitating medical care.

At the beginning of the consultation, you have a warm conversation with the medical staff, who takes your health parameters; followed by the ‘encounter’ with the AI Doctor device, presented by the Deputy Chief of service in charge of medical affairs. Paul Kennedy Ngueunkeng declared : ‘in order to guarantee a greater performance of the staff, regardless of its various features, this new device has the ability  to detect, to prevent health issues.’ ‘it can be considered a key asset, with multifunctional benefits that is; examination of brain and cardiovascular functions, the spine, the carpillary circulatory and eventually, intra and extra cellular exchanges’.

This initiative of the Top Management, in line with the importance of healthy staff and their productivity, aims at detecting and taking early actions, in case of any health issues. Staff members are already expressing their complete satisfaction after their first consultations: ‘I was impressed by the way this sophisticated device detected my health issues in just a minute and suggested a healthy diet for better health. Offcourse, this innovation needs to be congratulated!’ said Hyacinthe Omengue Ewodo. ‘I was very surprised to come across this device’ it is simply magnificent, I would even say exceptional. It manages to bring out a complete diagnosis of the body in a short period of time,’ added Damba.

In a very near future, this AI Doctor smart check-up will be a piece of equipment that staff and patients will have to get used to in our various healthcare facilities. However, its should be noted that the results obtained at the end of the diagnosis are not medical. Therefore, it is important not to get carried away when all the indicators are good. If you have any specific symptoms, you should consult a doctor immediately.
