This is the main information to emerge from the proceedings devoted to approving the accounts for the previous financial year, held on Friday 28 February 2025 at the Head Office of the Social Security Institution in Yaoundé, during an ordinary meeting of its Board of Directors.
On Friday morning, the Board of Directors of the NSIF in Cameroon approved the 2024 financial statements without any reservations. The meeting was chaired by Mrs Mohamadou Bilitté Haman Djoda, president of the Board of Directors, in the room reserved for this purpose on the 10th floor of the NSIF Head Office.
The ten items on the agenda were the focus of the attention of the Directors, a quorum of whom were present. The Director General reported on them, M. Noël Alain Olivier MEKULU MVONDO AKAME, as required by the regulations, and examined with the meticulousness and seriousness that characterise such high-level work. The agenda and minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors held on 28 November 2002 were approved before examining the degree of implementation of the resolutions adopted. This was followed by an analysis of the activities of the Board's specialised committees and specific reports on the organisation's activities. Attention then turned to the Management Report for the financial year 2024 and the Auditor's Report. At the end of constructive and fruitful discussions, the accounts of the organisation known to Cameroonians as "La Caisse" were adopted and validated. During this intense day, the directors also examined asset-related issues and closed this first ordinary meeting of the year with several resolutions.
As a result, Cameroon's NSIF is pursuing its path to excellence by implementing the right tools for good governance. As a result, the Directorate-General was "congratulated on the clarity of the documents presented". So it's time to start the financial year 2025 with the aim of doing even better!
