Board of Directors: The 2021 accounts validated

The management report of the National Social Insurance Fund (NSIF) was presented to the Board of Directors during its ordinary session held on Tuesday, 22 March 2022 in Yaounde.

Mrs Mohamadou Bilitté Haman-Djoda presided the 2022 inaugural session of the Board of Directors that began at 9:30 a.m. in the conference room at the Head Office of the NSIF.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the presentation of the annual report for the 2021 financial year. The presentation of the accounts, which show an excellent result close to that of the previous financial year, was approved without reservation, with strong recommendations from the Board of Directors for the recovery of amounts owed by employers, health facilities patients, tenants and above all the State, which to date owes the NSIF more than 150 billion CFA francs. Considering the excellent results for the 2021 financial year, the Board authorised the payment of a performance bonus to deserving staff.

The Board session also dealt with the adoption of the minutes, as well as the reports relating to the implementation of the resolutions of the Board of Directors held on 26 November 2021; the measures taken by the PCA specifically the delegation of powers; the specialised committees of the Board of Directors and finally, the specific reports including debt relief and rescheduling, investments, the report on public contracts and the disposal of equipment and furniture.
