Revision Of The Secondary Technical Education Curricula: The Contribution Of The NSIF
The Contribution Of The NSIF
A team of experts from the NSIF contributed to the training of National Pedagogic Inspectors on innovations for an effective revision of curricula in the science and technology field from the 17th to the 19th of August 2021 in Yaounde.
No more theory! The Ministry of Secondary Education (MINESEC) has taken the initiative to adapt the curricula to professional realities. It is within this framework and on the invitation of the said Ministry, addressed to the NSIF that Mrs MOFOR Gladys, on the instructions of the Director General, led a team of senior officials composed of Mr SOUAIBOU BAGOURA, Dr OUWE Chantal, Mrs MPONGO Christiane and their close collaborators.
Their brilliant presentations touched, among other things, the missions of the NSIF, prevention of occupational risks, payment of social benefits and the recovery of social contributions. This will undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of the quality of technical education in our secondary and high schools as well as in the practical training of young people, as highlighted by the Inspector General of Education (IGE) in her welcome address: “We need well-equipped staff to adapt teaching to the reality and professional environment”.
The exchanges that followed the presentations demonstrate the particular interest and motivation of the men and women in charge of developing technical education curricula in our country. In addition to the NSIF, the Directorate General of Taxation (DGI) also took part in this exchange platform. This seminar, the first of its kind in the field of secondary technical education, ended on Thursday, 19 August 2021 with a speech by the IGE who did not fail to congratulate the NSIF for its high-quality contribution to the exchanges.
