Economy Business Awards 2022: The NSIF Awarded

The best public sector company award was presented to the Social Security Institution on Thursday, the 17^th of November 2022 for its excellent performance and the prizes it has won internationally for the quality of service and good governance.

The first edition of these awards organised by the Économie Média Group on its 10^th anniversary was held at the Hotel la Falaise in Bonapriso, Douala. This ceremony comes within a framework aimed at encouraging promoters and managers of public and private enterprises, to be resilient despite the austere economic environment.

 Several prizes were awarded to Cameroonian enterprises, such as the NSIF for their performance and results known at the international level. The Regional Director for the Littoral and South-West (DRLSO) Jean-Paul Biboum, on behalf of the Director General of NSIF, received a prize in the category “best public sector company”. He congratulated the organiser for his initiative by commending a well-done job.

 The Economie Média Group did not fail to invite business promoters, media managers, and other guests present to subscribe for Voluntary Insurance, register their domestic staff, and pay their social contributions regularly, in order to further widen the scope of social Security coverage in Cameroon.

 The Regional Director took the opportunity to reassure the SABC and Prometal companies that the NSIF would spare no effort to ensure the registration of all and the timely payment of the social contributions due.
